MEET KATE JONES
Hello; it's nice to meet you! My name is Kate Jones and I am the founding attorney of Law Offices of Kate Jones. I have served members of my community through detailed and individualized estate planning since 2013. I currently serve clients across Pierce and King County as well as traveling to seven Indian tribal locations to serve their memberships.
Kate's Background
I graduated with honors from Youngstown State University in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature. During my time there, I worked to understand the legal world by participating in Mock Trial, Model UN, and Student Government. I spent the next three years of my law school education focusing on understanding the complexities of estate and tax law at the University of Akron School of Law. I served the Akron community by interning at the Area Agency on Aging, and soon discovered a passion for elder law. After making the decision to relocate to the Pacific Northwest, I was able to intern with the Seattle University School of Law Center for Indian Law & Policy and discovered a need for specialized estate planning services for native tribal members. I was officially licensed to practice law with the Washington State Bar Association in October 2013.
Kate's Vision
Since beginning my career as a lawyer, I discovered a passion for elder care, public service, and providing families with the highest level of customer service and peace of mind. I genuinely value the opportunity to provide individually-tailored estate planning services to King and Pierce residents and Washington tribal members. I have ten years of experience and I am specially trained to maneuver the intricacies of the Office of Special Trustee, Federal Probate, and concerns for tribal trust property. Potential clients can reach out to me with any questions they have about the best planning options for their families.
Kate's Life
I relocated to the PNW to be near my family so my number one priority in my private life is spending time with those closest to me. I enjoy traveling with my spouse, hiking, and living life to the fullest with my family and friends. My favorite parts of the PNW are the gorgeous scenery and fun restaurants to explore in every neighborhood. I have learned to love the Seahawks (and have maybe even become a fan myself) and look forward to building a community here for many years to come!
